Welcome to Feed the Birdies and to your dream of a vintage treasure hunt!

Feed the Birdies is a vintage ephemera, paper, stationery, and book shop with a few mixed media finds for whimsy. I’m also an avid vintage pencil collector, so I’ve thrown in vintage office and school supplies, too! I’m a high school teacher by trade, but I’ve been shopping local estate sales in the DFW metroplex for 15 years and selling on Instagram and Etsy as a side hustle to fund my obsession with paper. That means you’ll find things here that you might not find anywhere else! The thrill of the hunt gets me every time.

If you are looking for something that you don’t see, please ask. I probably have it or something similar. I’ve got picking down to a science!

This shop is owned and run by one neurodiverse creative. I am able to spot things others will miss while out scouring hot garages and old houses. Please know your order is very important to me and will be shipped as quickly as possible, but could be delayed due to an abundance of orders (thank you!).

If you need your order ASAP, please send a message via Etsy or email at [email protected].

Custom orders are welcome. In fact, I love them!

Because I personally curate each order and package it carefully, and also handle many orders at a time, shipping sometimes takes longer. I always include extras and pack orders carefully. Thank you so much for shopping with me!

How Feed the Birdies was Named

When my two boys were little, I drove a minivan and would buckle them in and head to McDonald’s for Happy Meals once each week. They loved the French fries, but sometimes wouldn’t want them all. Instead of dumping his in the floor of my van one day, my younger little guy was pretty adamant he was not going to hang on to his, and he yelled, “FEED THE BIRDIES!!” It stuck, and we said it many more times when we had leftover fries. And there you have it. Feed the birdies!
